Gulliver’s Travels by Jonathan Swift.

3/5 rating.

Book #108 of 2019. Read September 11, 2019.

I read two of Gulliver’s adventures in high school, but it was good to finally read the entire book. Swift is the king of satire and by reading this book, you can get a peek into some of the worst and most peculiar aspects of humankind. Enjoy the quests all around the world along his continually questionable choice to go seeking further adventure.

Quotes:

“And, he gave it for his opinion; that whoever could make two ears of corn, or two blades of grass to grow in a spot of ground where only one grew before; would deserve better of mankind, and do more essential service to his country, than the whole race of politicians put together.”
