The Gutsy Girl: Escapades for Your Life of Epic Adventure by Caroline Paul.
3/5 rating.
Book #11 of 2020. Read February 25, 2020.

I heard about this book through her @ted talk and interview on @shelbypodcasts ‘s Wild Ideas Worth Living podcast (great adventure podcast if you’re interested!) where she spoke about the importance of raising brave girls so they can become badass women!
This book tells some of Caroline’s most daring and crazy adventures through the lens of explaining the fear and doubt she was experiencing, but how she overcame it. It is definitely for a younger/female audience, but I still think we all could use that reminder to go break barriers, do the hard things, and just kill it in everything you do!
If you have any girls between the age of about 7 or 8 to around 14 or so, I think this would be a great book to instill that sense of adventure and bravery that we so often miss giving girls of our culture.
