Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card.
4/5 rating.
Book #124 of 2019. Read October 23, 2019.

This was a really entertaining book!
This book tells the story of Ender Wiggin, a genius child in a futuristic world at war. Years before, Earth had been attacked by an alien species known as “Buggers”. Though it has been years since that time, the majority of the most senior military leaders think Ender is their only hope at completely destroying the bugger race.
Starting at age 6, Ender is sent to training in order to live up to his prodigy status. Through the next 5 years, he deals with unbelievable scrutiny and pressure in the “wars” of simulations to prepare him for the final battle with the buggers.
Will his training pay off? Even at age 11, is he ready to save the human race? (You probably can guess the answers)…but to truly find out Earth’s fate, go get this book!! It had been awhile since I had read any fiction, but I am damn glad I broke the non-fiction streak and read this one!
