There’s a Cow in the Road by Reeve Lindbergh with pictures by Tracey Campbell Pearson.

4/5 rating. 28 pages.

Book #38 of 2023. Read August 28, 2023.

This is a premiere children’s book with great pictures, and some fun with a lot of farm animals.

I basically can’t say no to free books, so when I saw some this morning at school, I looked through them and found this little gem. This would be a lot of fun to read to children. I would say the only real issue is there wasn’t exactly a moral…or plot…or nearly any story. Haha, though we’re talking about kid’s books, so good illustrations and a fun book mend all thematic issues!

Just whatever you do when you wake up and see a cow in the road, beware of what its next “moo” might do…

(Also, I definitely am counting this, if a whole textbook only counts as 1 book, you better believe I’m counting the occasional children’s book!!)
